Progestro is an independent mobile application developed and operated by Lazar Avramović, an individual developer based in the Republic of Serbia. If the business is transferred to a legal entity in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Important: This App Does Not Replace a Veterinarian
Progestro is a recommendation tool only. It uses an algorithm developed in cooperation with a licensed veterinarian to help dog breeders track progesterone levels and estimate optimal breeding timing.
By using this app, you agree that:
- All interpretations and recommendations provided by the app are informational only.
- The app does not constitute veterinary advice and is not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian.
- All decisions regarding your animals — including health, breeding, and insemination — are entirely your own responsibility.
- The developer bears no liability for any outcome resulting from your use of this app.
If in doubt, always consult a licensed veterinarian.
What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the app.

What we do NOT collect
- Location data

How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to:
- Run the app and show you your dogs, readings, and recommendations.
- Send push notification reminders when a test is due (only if you enable this).
- Manage your subscription and unlock Pro features.
- Fix crashes and improve app stability using anonymized diagnostic data.
We never sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Third-Party Services
We use these services to operate the app. Each handles data on our behalf and has its own privacy and security standards.

These vendors are bound by their own data processing agreements, which they make available on their websites. We do not need separate contracts with them for standard app usage — their published terms cover this.
International Users
Progestro is available globally. Your data may be processed in Germany (Hetzner), and by Google (Firebase) and RevenueCat in the United States.
If you are located in the European Union, your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply. See the "Your Rights" section below.
If you are located elsewhere, applicable local privacy laws may also give you rights over your data. We will honor reasonable requests regardless of your location.
How Long We Keep Your Data

Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access your data — ask us what we hold about you.
- Correct your data — fix anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data — request that we delete your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw consent — disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
EU residents additionally have the right to object to certain processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
How to make a request: Send an email to hello@progestro.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
Account and Data Deletion
To delete your account and all associated data (dog profiles, readings, and account information), email us at hello@progestro.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. Subscription records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law; all other data will be permanently deleted.
Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we use Google Firebase to send them to your device. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device's system settings. This will not affect your access to the app or any of its features.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data:
- All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
- We use Firebase Authentication — we never store your password ourselves.
- Our backend database is hosted on Hetzner in Germany, which maintains ISO 27001-certified data centers.
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your data with care.
Children
This app is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@progestro.com and we will delete it.
No Advertising
We do not run ads. We do not use advertising networks. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you via an in-app notice or email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The updated date at the top of this document will always reflect the latest version.
Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
