1. Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Progestro mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Progestro is operated by Lazar Avramović, an individual developer based in the Republic of Serbia ("we," "us," or "our"). If the business is transferred to a legal entity in the future, these Terms will be updated accordingly.
These Terms apply to all users worldwide.
2. What Progestro Does
Progestro is a progesterone monitoring and breeding cycle tracking tool for dog breeders. It allows you to log progesterone readings for your dogs, view trend data, and receive algorithmically generated timing recommendations for breeding.
The App is a recommendation and tracking tool only. It is not a diagnostic device, a medical instrument, or a substitute for professional veterinary judgment.
3. Veterinary and Medical Disclaimer
This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully.
Progestro does not provide veterinary advice. The recommendations, interpretations, and suggested actions generated by the App are produced by an algorithm and are informational in nature only.
By using Progestro, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- The App does not constitute veterinary advice and must not be treated as such.
- The App is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian.
- All decisions regarding your animals — including but not limited to health assessments, breeding timing, insemination procedures, and whelping care — are entirely your own responsibility.
- We bear no liability of any kind for any outcome — including but not limited to injury, illness, failed breeding, financial loss, or death of an animal — resulting from your reliance on information provided by the App.
- Results may vary depending on the measurement machine used, sample quality, laboratory conditions, and the individual animal. No algorithm can account for all variables.
If you are uncertain about any reading or recommendation, consult a licensed veterinarian before taking any action.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Progestro. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.
5. Account Registration
To use Progestro, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly at hello@progestro.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not create accounts on behalf of another person without their explicit consent, or use another person's account without permission.
6. Subscription Plans
Progestro offers two tiers of access:

The current subscription price is displayed in the App Store and Google Play at the time of purchase. We may update pricing at any time; see Section 6.5.
6.1 Billing
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. By subscribing, you agree to the billing terms of the respective store. We do not handle payment card information directly.
6.2 Renewal
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged through your App Store or Google Play account.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Pro access until the period ends.
6.4 Refunds
Refunds are governed by the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact the relevant store.
6.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription pricing at any time. You will be notified of any price change before it takes effect, and you may cancel your subscription if you do not accept the new price.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Progestro only for its intended purpose — tracking progesterone readings for dogs you own or manage as part of a legitimate breeding program.
You must not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or any other system.
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it or our infrastructure.
- Enter false or misleading data with the intent to deceive others.
- Share or resell access to a Pro account with unauthorized users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.
8. Your Data
Your use of Progestro is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of the data you enter (dog profiles, readings). We do not claim any rights over your data. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@progestro.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."
9. Intellectual Property
All software, design, algorithms, text, graphics, and other content in Progestro — except for data you enter — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal devices for the purpose described in these Terms. No other rights are granted.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be available at all times or free from errors, bugs, or interruptions.
- Recommendations produced by the App will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular animal.
- The App will meet your specific requirements or produce any particular breeding outcome.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
- We are not liable for any decisions you make based on App recommendations, including decisions that affect the health, safety, or wellbeing of any animal.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lazar Avramović and any future legal successors from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights.
- Any outcome resulting from breeding or veterinary decisions made in reliance on the App.
13. Third-Party Services
Progestro uses third-party services including Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and Hetzner. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of any third-party service.
In-app purchases are governed by the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Progestro available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
- Update the App's features, algorithms, or interface at any time.
- Change or remove features from any subscription tier, provided we give reasonable notice for changes that materially reduce Pro functionality.
If we discontinue the App entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rated refund for any unused Pro subscription period where possible through the respective app store.
15. Termination
By you
You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account, email hello@progestro.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will notify you where reasonably practicable. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. For users located in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply and are not overridden by this clause.
We will always attempt to resolve disputes informally first. If you have a complaint, contact us at hello@progestro.com and we will work to resolve it within 30 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent court in Belgrade, Serbia, unless your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via an in-app notice or email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. The updated date at the top of this document will always reflect the latest version.
Continuing to use the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the App and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Progestro and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
